Hydrating your skin isn’t just about applying a cream: it’s about preserving skin comfort from morning to night. In this interview, Pauline, Training Manager at ENEOMEY, shares the key principles of proper hydration, then introduces REPAIR CREAM and what’s new in its formula.

What exactly does “hydrating your skin” mean?

Hydrating means helping the skin retain water and stay comfortable. We often talk about water, but the key idea is the skin barrier: if it’s weakened, the skin loses moisture more easily and becomes more sensitive. Ideally, you want a cream that hydrates and supports this barrier.

What are the signs of dehydrated skin?

The most common:

Tightness

Tightness,
areas that feel “marked”

Dehydration lines

Dehydration lines,
discomfort after cleansing

Dull complexion

Less radiant complexion

Hydration is often the step that immediately brings back that feeling of more supple, more comfortable skin.

Can dehydrated skin be combination or oily?

People often confuse skin type (combination, oily, normal...) with skin condition (dehydrated, reactive, dull...). Sebum can create shine, but the skin can still lack water. In that case, you want hydration that brings comfort without feeling “heavy,” to restore skin that feels balanced and pleasant to the touch.

Nourishing vs. hydrating: how can you explain it without mixing them up?

Simply put:

Hydrate

Hydrating

means helping the skin retain water on the surface and deeper within the epidermis.

Nourish

Nourishing

means providing lipids to strengthen the “protective film.”

What’s interesting about the new REPAIR CREAM formula?

REPAIR CREAM

REPAIR CREAM follows a very clear approach: it repairs, soothes, and hydrates. It’s a cream designed for sensitized, uncomfortable skin, or after an aesthetic procedure.

What makes the new formula stand out is, in particular, the addition of the SKIN RESET complex, designed to help the skin return more quickly to a more stable and more calm state. And when skin feels better, it shows: it often looks more even, more radiant, and more soothed.

REPAIR CREAM combines hydration and nourishment with ingredients like shea butter and phytosqualane: it brings real comfort to the skin, with a finish designed to stay comfortable. And above all, it’s non-comedogenic. You can use it every day of the year, even in summer!

People talk about REPAIR CREAM as a “comfort” cream—what does that mean?

With REPAIR CREAM, the goal is a very sensory “before/after”: the skin relaxes, tightness decreases, and you get back that soft, supple, almost “velvety” feel. And most importantly, the comfort should last: well-hydrated skin stays more pleasant throughout the day.

Our role is to protect and support the skin. We stimulate the skin through peels, and we support it with expertise throughout its regeneration.

What is the SKIN RESET complex?

SKIN RESET

Designed as a “reset” complex, it helps the skin feel more stable, more comfortable, and less reactive. We don’t promise “just hydration”—we support the skin toward a calmer, more balanced skin condition.

What are the hydrating ingredients in REPAIR CREAM?

You’ll find a trio of effective, well-known actives:

Niacinamide

Niacinamide

Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid

Sugar complex

Sugar complex

Niacinamide : it’s great for comfort and barrier support. It’s a kind of hydration you can feel—and that lasts over time.

Hyaluronic acid : it helps give that “plumper,” smoother-looking skin feel.

Sugar complex : its support the skin’s natural hydration.

What “pleasure” application tips do you recommend to maximize comfort?

Three very easy tips:

  • 1.2 pumps, no more (the right amount changes everything).
  • 2.Warm it up between your hands for a more melting texture.
  • 3.Apply with gentle pressing motions, then smooth.

It’s a mini ritual that delivers an immediate “feel-good” effect.

How long does it take to feel a difference?

There’s an immediate benefit: comfort and suppleness from the moment you apply it. Hydration is instant! Then, with regular use, you’re aiming for skin that feels more stable, less prone to tightness (100% say their skin feels less tight*) and day-to-day discomfort fluctuations (95.5% report skin that feels more supple and more comfortable*). In training, I like to remind people: taking care of your skin is an everyday thing—the most lasting result is skin that “reacts less” and stays comfortable for longer.
